Chopin Ballade op.23 no.1

sounds good to me, sounds easy to me. but it's not like what it seems. this ballade create by Frederic Chopin in 1835-36 during Chopin's early year in Paris. first part, it says it should be pesante in Italian word that means heavy, after that there's like a sad melody but it quite strong though. what i love from this song is there are many elements.

first part, there's like a desperate and heavy melody like a person who really desperate or just broken his/her heart walking away through the bridge in a beautiful scenery. when I heard it, it just like a boring melody, but after i play that, it's like making me curious about this feeling. second part is the sweetest thing in this song. the melody is sweet and harmless and makes everybody calm. it's really hard to play this part to me because i'm not a sweet and making calm person. i always rush and push the melody and overall i play it very fast.. :( the last part is my favorite part! because it's say Presto con fuoco so it means that i have to play it very fast. yeah! to me, it's like a thundering coda because there's many chord. it sound like a person who rebel about everything to have what he/she want. it's very good to me :D

this song is dedicated to Monsieur le Baron de Stockhausen and when Chopin shows this song to a famous composer too, Robert Schumann, Schumann says that he loves the song so bad and this song is showing how genius is Chopin in making song :)

This song is one of the more popular Chopin's song. It featured many film and it become a music for many Ballet shows too. Many pianist play it like Richter, Rubinstein, Horowitz, and many more. =D
